Once again the Libertyville Lions Club will be holding their Annual Breakfast with Santa at the Libertyville High School on Sunday, December 6th, 2009 from 8:00 am to 1:00 PM.   This fundraiser helps provide resources to assist the visually impaired and the hearing impaired of our community and of Illinois.

14th Annual Pancake Breakfast with Santa

Delicious pancakes, sausages, and pastries highlighted the 14th Annual Pancake Breakfast with Santa at Libertyville H.S. on December 7, 2008.  Santa also arrived for the event and took pictures with children of all ages.  The event was put on by the members of Libertyville Lions Club.  The fundraiser supports many of its programs for the local community, including unmet medical needs associated with sight and hearing.  Food and supplies were donated by local restaurants and businesses.

The Lions of Illinois Foundation’s Hearing Bus is ready to roll and start OSHA testing. The drivers are certified by training with the Council for the Accreditation of Occupational Hearing Conservation (CAOHC). Dr. Thunder, AuD, FAAA, INCE, a licensed Audiologist, Forensic Audiologist and Acoustical Engineer will oversee the project and work on an as needed basis.
